Creeps ā€˜n’ Jeeps club hosts clean-up day on Thomas Mountain

Among the best stewards of the public lands in Southern California are the organized 4x4 enthusiast clubs. From leaving no trace, sticking to the trails and just being responsible, these organizations want to help preserve the state and federal park lands for those that follow in their tire tracks.The Creeps ā€˜n’ Jeeps club went a step further, organizing a clean-up day on Thomas Mountain Saturday, May 21.With the help of several club members, the group fully loaded a trailer with trash found on the trails during their Thomas Mountain Trail Clean-up event.ā€œIt was a long day,ā€ club president Kayle Miltenberger said. ā€œSix rigs, two breakdowns and about 500 pounds of trash.
