Small Brush Fire Breaks Out in Anza

ANZA (CNS) - A wildfire blackened three acres in Anza Saturday, June 11, 2022. The fire was reported at 3:57 p.m. near Highway 371 and Howard Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. It was initially burning in medium fuel at a moderate rate, fire officials said. By 4:39 p.m., firefighters stopped the forward spread of the fire, which was holding at three acres, the fire department reported. Another brush fire had broken out less than two miles away near the Cahuilla Casino on Saturday morning.Copyright 2022, City News Service, Inc.
