Supervisors set Sept. 13 hearing to create Highway 74 financing district

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors set a Tuesday, Sept. 13, hearing date for the proposed creation of the Highway 74 Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District Public Financing Authority.The supervisors’ 5-0 vote Tuesday, May 24, set the pubic hearing for September 13, adopted a resolution of intention to form the district and create the financing authority, approved the boundary map, directed that a copy of the resolutions be sent to each landowner within the proposed district and found the creation of the district to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review.An enhanced infrastructure financing district is a state-approved bond issuance mechanism for local governments.
