Homelessness and illegal street vendor problems voiced at the Hemet City Council

The Hemet City Council listened to more than a dozen residents expressing dissatisfaction with the city’s efforts to stem the tide of homelessness, trash pickup and cracking down on the growing number of illegal street vendors coming into the city during its Tuesday, June 14, regular meeting.The Brown Act prohibits councilmembers to answer the public’s or residents’ inquiries during the non-agendized public comment time, and as a result, they were unable to respond to the questions raised.
