Lake Elsinore City Council declares July “Parks and Recreation Month”

Lake Elsinore’s Director of Community Services Johnathan O. Skinner graciously accepted a proclamation from Mayor Tim Sheridan that recognizes July 2022 as Parks and Recreation Month during the June 28 city council meeting.It states, in part, that the City of Lake Elsinore “recognizes the benefits derived from parks and recreation.” The City joins the nation in celebration of parks and recreation programs that “are an integral part of communities throughout this country” and promote health and wellness and improve the physical and mental health of people who live near parks.
