FRENCH VALLEY (CNS) - A 17-year-old girl killed in a two-vehicle wreck at a French Valley intersection was identified today.
Brianna Gonzalez of Winchester was fatally injured about 12:40 p.m. Saturday at Auld and Pourroy roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officer Mike Lassig said Gonzalez was in the right front passenger seat of a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee going eastbound on Auld, where a 21-year-old man at the wheel of a 1996 Buick Regal was waiting to make a left turn from southbound Pourroy.
"For an unknown reason at this time, the Jeep collided with the Buick, causing the Jeep to overturn several times and eject the victim onto the north sidewalk,'' Lassig said.
Riverside County Fire Department crews reached the location within a few minutes and pronounced Gonzalez
