The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District approved an agreement for preliminary engineering and environmental services for the Butterfield Overland Trail staging area.The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District utilizes the county Board of Supervisors members as the park district board members, and Tuesday, July 12, the county supervisors voted 4-0 with Manuel Perez absent to approve the professional service agreement with UltraSystems Environmental Inc. The consultant contract itself was found to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review.
