The new book, “A Veteran’s Story – Courage and Honor,” compiled by Raven Hilden and available in print and e-book, will be the centerpiece of a book signing with many of the 30 contributing veteran authors from Murrieta and Wildomar sponsored by MilVet Thursday, Aug. 11.The book is an anthology written by 30 veterans, many known in southwest Riverside County. It is a salute to all veterans of all eras and military branches who have fought for the nation and risked their lives to protect freedom.The contributors include active duty soldiers, Gold Star families, women in the military, Vietnam War veterans, combat veterans and peacetime veterans.
