Man killed on Hemet street, Police search for suspects

HEMET (CNS) - An investigation was underway today into the street slaying of a Hemet man.The victim, whose name was being withheld by detectives, was located about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of North San Jacinto Street, near Latham Avenue, according to Lt. Michael Mouat of the Hemet Police Department.A passer-by found the man unconscious and called 911, Mouat said.Paramedics arrived a short time later and pronounced him dead at the scene.An autopsy was completed Monday, confirming that the victim had suffered injuries that were intentionally inflicted, though Mouat did not specify further.No suspects have been identified.Anyone with information on the killing was asked to call the detectives at 951-765-2324.Copyright 2022, City News Service, Inc.
