
The Lake Elsinore City Council meeting began Tuesday, Sept. 13, with a welcome to Ryan Lewis, Ed.D., the new superintendent of Lake Elsinore Unified School District, who gave a brief introduction and presentation. With more than 25 years in education, he said he is proud to work with such a dedicated board of trustees and supportive community.Lewis said the district is experiencing a higher enrollment than projected, serving approximately 20,600 students, and he has found that families are eager to re-engage.
