RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A 52-year-old motorist accused of shooting another
driver during a road rage confrontation on Interstate 15 in Eastvale was
charged today with attempted murder and other offenses.Carlos Leonardo Castro Martinez of Menifee was arrested and booked
into the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside on Saturday following a California
Highway Patrol investigation.Along with attempted murder, Martinez is charged with firearm assault
resulting in great bodily injury, shooting at an occupied vehicle, child
endangerment and illegal possession of a gun.The defendant, who is being held without bail, was slated to make his
initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon at the Riverside Hall of Justice.According to the CHP, at about 5:10 p.m. Friday, Martinez was driving
