The Eastern Municipal Water District board approved funding for the West San Jacinto Groundwater Sustainability Agency Plan 2022 water year groundwater monitoring report and 2023 calendar year groundwater monitoring program.The 4-0 board vote Wednesday, Sept. 21, with Randy Record absent, appropriated $802,300 for the plan activities. The estimated cost to prepare the 2022 groundwater monitoring report is $127,100 while the monitoring program is expected to be a $675,200 expense.
