EAST HEMET (CNS) - A person riding a go-cart was struck by an SUVÂ Â in
unincorporated East Hemet this evening and airlifted to a hospital for
treatment.The crash was reported at 5:16 p.m. at Columbia Street and Whittier
Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.Witnesses told the CHP that a Chevrolet Equinox struck the go-cart.The Riverside County Fire Department confirmed one patient was
airlifted to a hospital in serious condition. Officials said another patient
was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance with minor injuries.The department did not immediately release the names or descriptions
