The Val Verde Unified School District is pleased to announce that it will be providing aid to Banda La Primavera from Santiago de Veraguas, Panama between December 27, 2022- January 4, 2023.Val Verde Unified School District is providing use of the gym at Rancho Verde High School to be used as sleeping quarters for nearly 230 people. Rancho Verde band director, Honglac Hathuc, is also assisting Banda La Primavera by lending musical instruments. The Rancho Verde Booster Club has been working diligently to provide food and help collect donations for Banda La Primavera.Due to unexpected budget shortfalls, Banda La Primavera needed immediate assistance to be able to perform in the 2023 Rose Parade.
