Man admits burglarizing businesses in Elsinore, other cities

MURRIETA (CNS) - A 39-year-old convicted felon who perpetrated break- ins targeting businesses in Riverside and Los Angeles counties is slated to be sentenced next month after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.Jose Eduardo Ramirez of Victorville on Tuesday admitted a felony burglary count under an agreement with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. In exchange for his admission, prosecutors dropped five related counts against him.Superior Court Judge Paul Dickerson scheduled a sentencing hearing for Feb. 3 at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta.Ramirez is free on an $80,000 bond.According to Riverside County sheriff's officials, the defendant carried out break-ins in Lake Elsinore, Diamond Bar, Baldwin Park and West Covina, between September 2021
