Gumdrop engineering program for teens to be hosted at Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library

TEMECULA – Any teens who enjoy S.T.E.M. activities can come explore the basic concepts from engineering during the teen program, Gumdrop Engineering, Monday, Jan. 23, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, 30600 Pauba Road, Temecula.Using only candy and toothpicks, teens will be introduced to different structural shapes, and why they are used in architecture. Finally, participants will be challenged to create different structures that showcase what they have learned.Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, this program is for grades 7-12, and is limited to 25 participants.
