Community service has always been second nature to Paige Stowe. The 14-year-old has been volunteering for so long she can’t even recall the first time she helped out. “It’s just something that has always been part of my life,” she said. In October 2022, she was chosen as Menifee’s Outstanding Citizen of the Month after being nominated by City Councilmember Lesa Sobek.“I chose Paige for all of the charity work she has done and been involved with for many years, starting in elementary school,” Sobek said. “She is an example to all of us on what it means to put service above self. At her young age, Paige has learned one of the most important secrets of having a happy life, love of neighbor.”Her monthly recognition qualified Paige to be considered for the Outstanding
