Menifee DUI Enforcement team nets 9 citations

MENIFEE –The Menifee Police Department sent out a two-officer DUI enforcement team to seek DUI drivers Monday, April 24, between 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Twelve drivers were stopped for various vehicle code violations. Of the 12 drivers stopped, nine were cited for either speeding, stop sign violation and/or cellphone use. One driver was found to be unlicensed and screened for possible intoxication; however, they did not appear to be under the influence. The driver’s vehicle was towed for being unlicensed and a citation was issued.The residents of Menifee can rest assured the Menifee Police Department is committed to keeping the streets safe from dangerous drivers and conducting regular enforcement patrols.
