Temecula Valley Historical Society announces a genealogy presentation

Laurice Johnson, an avid genealogist and active member of the Temecula Valley Genealogical Society, is giving a two-part presentation to the Temecula Valley Historical Society on August 28 and September 25 at the Little Temecula History Center. Johnson will give details on how to "Get Ready to Get Started" for people interested in starting to trace their family trees. She will discuss resources available in the free Familysearch.org website, how to use WIKI, and the pros and cons of using the World Tree. At the end of the August program Johnson will guide the audience in an activity with the app Relative Finder to see if anyone in the audience may be related to one another.Johnson grew up in a family that discussed their ancest
