Blaze damages Riverside house, displacing five

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A fire damaged a Riverside home, displacing the five occupants, all of whom escaped uninjured, officials said today.The blaze was reported about 9 p.m. Thursday at 5890 Warren St., near Cypress Avenue, according to the Riverside Fire Department.Battalion Chief Pat Hopkins said that three engine crews and a truck company -- numbering nearly 20 personnel -- were sent to the location and encountered smoke pouring out of a bedroom window in the single-story residence."All occupants were able to safely exit the home prior to the fire department's arrival,'' Hopkins said. "Fire personnel initiated an aggressive interior fire attack and contained the fire to one bedroom.''Hopkins said that an investigation quickly determined the blaze was triggered by a faulty el
