Hemet contracts with Riverside County for animal control services

The city of Hemet will begin receiving animal control services through the Riverside County Department of Animal Services, under an $805,000 contract that will replace a nonprofit currently serving the municipality. The contract will end on June 30, 2024, with options for renewal. "We are very much looking forward to providing services and resources to Hemet residents and their pets." According to a city statement
