Supervisors Spiegel, Washington announce Riverside County’s participation in Operation Green Light for Veterans with special ceremony Nov. 7

RIVERSIDE – In solidarity with the National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers, Supervisors Karen Spiegel and Chuck Washington announced Riverside County’s participation in Operation Green Light for Veterans at a ceremonial light switch event Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 5:30 p.m. in front of the County Administration Center Building, 4080 Lemon St., in Riverside.“As a veteran, I understand what it means to put service above self,” Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington said. “While we light up our administrative center in green, we are illustrating that Riverside County is dedicated to ensuring that our veterans are seen, appreciated and supported.”Riverside County is honored to stand alongside the nation’s 3,069 count
