Dear Third District Residents,While 2023 draws to a close, it is important to reflect upon the abundance of gratitude that this year has brought. Riverside County is the fourth most populous county in California and 10th in the United States; it is home to 2.5 million individuals, approximately 500,000 of which are within the Third District. To actively serve our residents, it requires over 40 various departments with 23,000+ employees.Beyond our county departments, we also account for a multitude of organizations that help serve Riverside County residents in phenomenal ways. As this time of the year is typically characterized as the “giving season,” one of the most valuable things we can give is our time.
