EMWD approves San Jacinto Commerce Center water supply assessment

The Eastern Municipal Water District approved the water supply assessment for the San Jacinto Commerce Center specific plan. The EMWD board voted 4-0 Dec. 20, with Jeff Armstrong absent, to authorize the water supply assessment which addresses whether the projected normal, single dry year, and multiple dry year expected supply over a 20-year period can meet the demand for the project along with existing and other planned projects. The water supply assessment will be incorporated into the Environmental Impact Report for the project. Shea Properties is the developer of the San Jacinto Commerce Center specific plan project while the City of San Jacinto is the lead agency for the EIR.
