Menifee woman awarded $11.2M verdict in Armstrong v. Lifecare Centers of America case

In a closely watched case, a Riverside County jury has awarded Kathleen Armstrong, a former employee of Lifecare Centers of America Inc., a total verdict of $11,183,000 in a lawsuit filed against her former employer. The case, Armstrong v. Lifecare Centers of America Inc. revolved around allegations of wrongful termination, defamation, unpaid overtime and punitive damages.Kathleen Armstrong, 58, had been employed at a skilled nursing facility in Menifee that is owned and operated by LCCA since March 1997.
