Santa Claus in his red suit and white beard dropped out of the sky Sunday, Dec. 17, to greet dozens of children from local military families where children picked from hundreds of toys and gifts distributed by the MilVet Holiday for Heroes event hosted at the skydiving center Skydive Perris.MilVet volunteers have been soliciting new toy and gift donations from local businesses and residents for months, all resulting in the toy distribution event that provided a joyful and happy Christmas holiday for the area’s underserved military families and their children. Not only did the children from more than 200 area military families enjoy picking up bags of Christmas gifts, but also enjoyed a taco bar, hot cocoa bar, snacks, desserts and craft making stations.[gallery td_select_galle
