New poll: Former baseball star Steve Garvey in second place in California’s U.S. Senate primary race

LOS ANGELES – A new poll published by POLITICO and Morning Consult shows that baseball legend Steve Garvey's campaign for the U.S. Senate has surged to second place going into the March 5 primary election.
