The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District will be developing and implementing a wireless radio network high-speed redundant ring to upgrade radio communications to facilities throughout the district, and the EVMWD board meeting Thursday, Feb. 8, included approving a task order with Systems Integrated Inc. for a pilot project.The board’s 5-0 vote approved the $298,113 task order. The pilot project will create a high-speed wireless radio redundant ring for the main repeater sites around the district.The district’s current supervisory control and data acquisition system was implemented in 2004 and included a wireless radio communications network between the district’s main office and remote sites consisting of pump stations, reservoirs, lift stations and water treatment plant
