UPDATED: Washington Holds On To Lead In Third District Supervisor Race

Early results show Ingram trailing by more than 13,000 votes with 83.9 percent of votes cast left to be counted.

UPDATE: Thursday, March 8, 2024, 9 a.m.Incumbent Third District Supervisor candidate Charles "Chuck" Washington has taken the early lead in the race to retain his seat as Riverside County Third District Supervisor over challengers former Murrieta Mayor Jonathan Ingram and former Cudahy Mayor Jack M. Guerrero.The most recent results from the Riverside County Registrar of Voters primary showed Washington, 71, capturing 54.67 percent of the vote, with Ingram, 58, at 25.38 percent and Guerrero, 50, of Temecula, at 19.94 percent, with less than 20 percent of votes cast counted.In the race for the seat representing the First District on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors to replace retiring Supervisor Kevin Jeffries, Richard D.
