The Eastern Municipal Water District board approved the environmental Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Washington Street Transmission Main Project.The EMWD board voted 4-0 March 20, with Stephen Corona absent, to approve the MND. The action also approves the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program and approves the project in principle, although contracts for the project will be authorized at a future board meeting.The Washington Street Transmission Main Project involves installing approximately 6,400 linear feet of 18-inch diameter potable water main in Winchester.
