The city of Temecula announced it has once again been recognized by The Government Finance Officers Association for its annual Budget reports. The newest recognitions come on the heels of the city receiving its 32nd award for “Certificate in Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” in September of last year for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2022.The GFOA presented the city with the “Distinguished Budget Presentation Award” for its Fiscal Year 23-24 Annual Operating Budget.According to GFOA, the award represents a significant achievement by the city of and reflects the commitment of both city council and staff to meet “the highest principles of governmental budgeting.”In order to receive the award, Temecula
