The event, held at the picturesque yet challenging Wilshire Country Club from April 25–28, 2024, ended in a triumphant victory for Green, marking her fifth LPGA Tour win and her second for the year.
Green’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, especially during the crucial back-nine stretch where she twice holed out from off the greens, showcasing not just her impeccable skill but also her ability to perform under pressure. Heading into the final round tied at -7 with Grace Kim, Green managed to pull ahead with a final round score of 66, bringing her tournament score to a winning -12 (272 for the tournament), and finishing three strokes ahead of runner-up Maja Stark (275 for the tournament).
The event started with a field of 144 players, including the talented former Murrieta resident Bianca Pagdanganan, showcasing the depth and competitiveness of the tour.
