MENIFEE - The Menifee Union School District is proud to announce that Misty McBee, an animatronics teacher at Harvest Hill STEAM Academy, has been named the 2025 Riverside County Teacher of the Year. This prestigious recognition marks a historic milestone as McBee becomes the first teacher from Menifee Union School District and the first animatronics educator in Riverside County to receive this honor.
On Thursday, May 23, Dr. Edwin Gomez, Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, visited McBee's classroom to personally deliver the exciting news. Dr. Gomez praised McBee for her innovative approach to education and her significant contributions to student learning and school culture.
