Valley-Wide Aquatic Center to open June 15

HEMET - Swim season at Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District's Diamond Valley Aquatic Center in Hemet will begin Saturday, June 15. The pool, near Diamond Valley Lake, will offer open swimming daily as well as a number of other activities. Weekday hours will be Monday to Thursday, 2:30 to 5 p.m. The cost is $5 per person, $4 for age 55+ and veterans, $2 age 2 and younger. Weekend hours will be Friday to Sunday, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Price $9 per person, $8 for age 55+ and veterans, $2 age 2 and younger. Registration for group and private swim lessons, junior lifeguard and water polo classes are taken at the pool, 1801 Angler Ave., Hemet.
