The annual Anza Days 2024 events took the town by storm Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. From Friday’s kick-off dinner/dance to the Thimble Club’s pancake breakfast, parade and festivities in Minor Park on Saturday, the events thrilled residents and visitors alike. For decades this hometown celebration has been an essential part of the community and its history. Anza Days are an entertaining, humorous, colorful and fun combination of wholesome activities put on by local civic organizations and a great number of volunteers. The kickoff dinner/dance featured a country-themed menu and the Barnyard Boyz band for a rip-roaring good time. Saturday’s events began with the Thimble Club’s annual pancake breakfast, with fluffy pancakes, sausages, fruit and an egg bake. [gallery td_
