The regional Emmy Awards ceremony was held June 15 at the Westin Rancho Mirage, and Warren Burley and Kimy Wall and received Emmy awards for their “Be a Water Hero” commercials they created for the Rancho California Water District.
“We are humbled to get this award. Water conservation is so important to us, and to be recognized at this level is so amazing,” Wall said.
“I was incredibly honored to receive the Emmy Award,” Burley said.
Although the commercials were on behalf of the Rancho California Water District, the Emmy Awards were presented to Wall and Burley. “The Emmys don’t give awards to companies. They give them to individuals,” Wall said.
