Pride was evident among the Lions of San Jacinto Leadership Academy as they welcomed Congressman Raul Ruiz to campus for a special delivery. On June 12, Ruiz suited up in a SJLA jersey for The Congressional Baseball Game for Charity in Washington, DC. He signed the jersey, had it framed and returned it to the academy on July 3. He included a photo from the game, which he also signed.In the 12 years he has served in Congress, Ruiz has played in the annual charity baseball game that pits the Republicans against the Democrats.
