Anza Quilters Club shows off Opportunity Quilt at Anza Days

Several members of the Anza Quilters Club displayed their Opportunity Quilt at a booth during the Anza Days events Saturday, June 29.The non-profit Anza Quilters club is a group of women who come together to share their passion for quilting. Traditionally, they painstakingly create a large quilt annually to raffle off in order to raise funds for charitable community organizations.According to the ladies, the club is selling tickets for the 2024 Opportunity Quilt for $1 for one ticket or 6 tickets for $5."This is our only fundraiser," said Ellen Elmore. "The monies raised go back to the community. You may see us out and about with the quilt. We would appreciate your contribution by purchasing the raffle tickets."The Opportunity Quilt will be raffled off at the Anza Quilters
