Local assistance center to open on Friday, Aug. 9 for Anza area residents and businesses impacted by the Nixon Fire

RIVERSIDE – The Riverside County Emergency Management Department, county departments, local and non-profit organizations, are opening a Local Assistance Center (LAC) Friday for residents and businesses impacted by the Nixon Fire.The center will be at the Anza Community Hall located at 56630 CA-371, Anza, CA 92539. The hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.The LAC will provide resources and services from many different agencies. It is for all residents and businesses in the Anza area that have been impacted by the Nixon Fire.“Recovering from wildfires can be especially hard,” said Board Chair Chuck Washington, Third District. “That’s why this Local Assistance Center is open to all residents and businesses in the area in and around the Nixon Fire.
