The Friends of the Anza Community Library announced that they have undertaken the restoration of 27 original watercolors painted by Louise Hamilton in 1945. The watercolors, which depict a variety of local plants and flowers of the Anza area, have been scanned and reframed thanks to the generous support of FOAL. The watercolors have been on display at the Anza Community Library for many years but needed reframing. FOAL volunteers and a representative from the Hamilton Museum met Wednesday, June 26 to scan, reframe and catalog 27 original watercolor paintings by Louise Hamilton. The reframed art was given back to the museum for future exhibitions. Louise Hamilton was a local artist who lived in Anza from 1940 to 1960. Her history is closely tied to the Hamilton Museum and Ranch Foundation
