The Lake Riverside Estates Equestrian Committee presented a Fire Preparedness clinic for horse owners at the arena in LRE on Saturday, July 27. The event was open to LRE residents and their guests.
Presenters Lacie Robison, Cezanne Jodka, Carolyn Hebets and Stacy Kuhns covered relevant topics, including evacuation procedures for large animals, equine identification options, trailer readiness, loading/unloading animals and trailer safety.“There were lots of great ideas learned from presenters and the attendees,” said Kuhns. “We discussed previous local fires and the lessons learned from them.
