MENIFEE – On Nov. 12, at approximately 1:46 p.m., the School Resource Officer was notified of a report of child abuse at Heritage High School. The teacher, 54-year-old Stacey MacPherson, was arrested for physically assaulting a student on campus.The investigation revealed an altercation occurred between the teacher and student. The student sustained a minor injury during the incident and did not require medical attention. The teacher was placed under arrest for child abuse.The Menifee Police Department would like to thank the Perris Union High School District for their assistance in the investigation.
