Craig wins UPHA Walk/Trot Show Pleasure National Championship

The United Professional Horsemen’s Association held its UPHA/American Royal National Champion Horse Show at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City, Missouri, in November, and Temecula’s Eden Craig won the National Championship for the Walk/Trot Show Pleasure 12 & Under class.Craig, who rode Stella, turned 12 on Dec. 20. Because the UPHA ages are based on age as of the previous December 1 Craig was also able to compete in the UPHA 10 & Under Walk/Trot Challenge Cup in November and placed among the top five in that National Championship competition.Stella, an 18-year-old American Saddlebred mare whose registered name is CH Harlem’s Midnight Lace, is owned by Wallen West Farms and Riding Academy in Temecula where Craig trains. “We were thrilled when Eden and Stella
