Ken CalvertContributor Fighting wildfiresDuring the last week of March, I had the opportunity to see the latest addition to Cal Fire’s aviation fleet. This is the first of seven C-130 Hercules aircraft that I helped, along with Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA), transfer from the federal government to Cal Fire.
