Former Wildomar City Manager Dan York retires May 9 after 3 years of service

Wildomar City Manager Daniel York, beginning Friday, May 9, will be leaving his post for a planned retirement, according to Janet Morales, acting city manager. Yor has been on administrative leave since his retirement announcement last month.York will receive a severance payment in the amount of $44,026.66, which is equivalent to 2 months’ pay.He has served as City Manager since Feb. 2, 2022. Since then, the city has completed its first General Plan, purchased the city hall building, planned two major new parks, hired additional employees, and added public safety and code enforcement personnel.
