Recommended $10 billion county budget now available online

Approximately $73 million in estimated revenue to be used from reserves The Riverside County Executive Office today released a $10 billion recommended budget for fiscal year 2025-26 to fund critical county services. This recommended budget, which will be considered by the Board of Supervisors during budget hearings scheduled for Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10, projects to use approximately $73 million from the county’s savings (i.e., reserves) to reduce impacts to services.This recommended spending plan was developed following extensive meetings with County departments and an expanded public outreach campaign seeking community input. It includes $2.8 billion for health services, $2.3 billion for public safety, $2.0 billion for human services and $1.2 billion for public works.
