MURRIETA – The Murrieta Police Department is actively investigating a serious assault that occurred on the evening of Friday, October 31, 2025, between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., near the intersection of Margarita Road and Grove Way in the City of Murrieta.During the incident, an altercation took place between two adult male subjects. As a result, one individual sustained multiple serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.Officers responded quickly after receiving 9-1-1 calls reporting the assault. Several witnesses remained at the scene and were interviewed by responding personnel.
