Julie Reeder and Joe NaimanValley News StaffAfter more than a year of planning, approvals, and construction, a new gateway now welcomes visitors to wine country.The “Temecula Valley Wine Country Archway” was lifted into place overnight Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 24–25, marking the completion of a long-anticipated entry monument along Rancho California Road just east of Butterfield Stage Road.The project was awarded last summer when the Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved a $744,100 construction contract with US Builders and Consultants, Inc..
