In August 2024, the County of Riverside awarded a contract to resurface Buck Road and Warren Road between Rancho California Road and Borel Road, but planned Eastern Municipal Water District sewer work would have created a conflict so the county and the contractor agreed to cancel the contract and re-bid the contract after the EMWD work was completed. On December 16, 2025, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the re-bid of the contract.The supervisors’ 4-0 vote, with Jose Medina absent, authorizes the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to advertise a construction contract for bid.
