A violent rollover crash on Interstate 15 Tuesday afternoon ended with a driver ejected onto the freeway shoulder and their vehicle launching over a perimeter wall, landing on a sidewalk in a nearby residential neighborhood.
​The accident occurred at approximately 12:56 p.m. on the southbound I-15, just north of California Oaks Road.
​According to preliminary reports from the scene, the vehicle rolled over on the freeway, ejecting the driver. The driverless vehicle then continued its momentum, vaulting over the brick sound wall that separates the interstate from the community. It came to rest on the sidewalk in front
